Las mariposas monarcas ofrecen un espectáculo inigualable
Millones de mariposas emigran a las zonas centrales de México en el invierno. Se encuentran principalmente en las montañas del Estado de México y Michoacán.
País de la Monarca
Esta región del estado de Michoacán se encuentra al este del estado en los limites con el Estado de México. Comprende varias poblaciones, siendo las mas cercanas a los santuarios: Zitácuaro en el sur, ciudad Hidalgo antes Taximaroa al noroeste, Tlalpujahua al norte a once kilómetros de la autopista a Morelia y en el centro Angangueo y Ocampo.
